Hours and Guidelines

Family members and friends are always welcome to visit. We strive to create a therapeutic healing environment for our patients and ask that you please keep noise levels to a minimum while visiting. People with colds, sore throat or any contagious diseases should not visit patients. Visiting hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Phoning Inpatients

To call an inpatient, please call 415-647-8600 and be prepared to provide BOTH the room number and patient name.

Cafeteria

Located in the Main Hospital on the 2nd Floor, the Cafeteria is open to all visitors and patients, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Hot Breakfast is served 6:30 – 9:30 a.m.; Hot Lunch is served 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.; Hot Dinner is available 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. The Café accepts debit and credit cards as well as cash.

Coffee Cart

Located in the Lobby of the Monteagle Medical Office building, Java City offers a selection of gourmet coffees, teas, espresso, sweet treats, plus a limited selection of salads and sandwiches. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Vending Machines

Located in the Main Hospital on the 2nd Floor, the vending machines are adjacent to the Cafeteria and offer a variety of snacks and drinks.

Gift Shop

Located off the Lobby of the Main Hospital, the Gift Shop sells a variety of items, including sodas, snacks and ice cream; magazines; aspirin, first aid products; and gifts, baby items, cards and souvenirs. VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Discover are all accepted with a $10 minimum purchase. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Flowers

Fresh flowers are available in the St. Luke’s Gift Shop, located off the Lobby of the Main Hospital. Prices range from $10 - $40. VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Discover are all accepted with a $10 minimum purchase. If you would like to have flowers delivered to a patient’s room, please call 415-641-6532.

Banking (ATM)

A San Francisco Fireman’s Credit Union ATM and stamp machine is located outside the Gift Shop in the Main Hospital. Bank of America is located at the corner of Valencia and Mission; an ATM is available there. Wells Fargo has an ATM inside the Safeway at 3350 Mission Street.

Chapel/Chaplaincy Program

Located on the 2nd Floor of the “1912” Building, the Chapel is open 24/7. Catholic mass is held every Sunday. Chaplains are available for spiritual support, counseling and sacramental care onsite, each week Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Chaplaincy is available to all religious traditions as well as to those of no particular tradition.
